Burnout is a state of physical and emotional exhaustion. Feeling overwhelmed with stress is a sign that something needs to give. Taking time off to rest is recommended to help avoid burnout, but this is easier said than done.
We're encouraging you to relax and reset and take this time to find and explore what helps you wind down. It’s important to take a break, give yourself space and check in on your mental health. Go for a walk, picnic with your family or listen to some music - take the weight off your shoulders and lay your challenges out to see. This enables us to face them head on and take charge of the things we can control. Quality time with friends and family, or even alone, can be a great way to help with mental health and relaxing. |
Wellbeing AcademyLife can get busy and take its toll before you even realise it. If you are feeling overly tired, stressed or overwhelmed, make sure to stop, take a step back and prioritise your health wherever you can.
