Critical Response Service
With the high incidence of suicide and accidents on site there is a need to provide a fast response unit to work with the individuals that have experiences the incident.
The critical response unit usually engages within 48 Hours and delivers:
• Onsite trauma response for accidents, injuries or illnesses
• They work with the onsite representative or HR department contact to co-ordinate response
• Work with the affected people both on an individual on a group basis
• Return to complete a secondary review as per NICE guidelines to investigate any secondary trauma
• Where appropriate signpost for ongoing support
